It starts with a jangly riff, but like with any good Tucker Riggleman song, you’re gonna have to dig a whole lot deeper than the surface. With his special brand of catchy beats and despondency, Riggleman and his musical projects are a band of all seasons, and the Cheap Dates is his tightest band yet.
“Manic” is off of the band’s upcoming album Alive and Dying Fast, which was tracked, mixed, and produced by esteemed producer Duane Lundy (Ringo Starr, Ian Noe, Joe Pug, Justin Wells) at his Lexington Recording Company in Lexington, KY. The finishing touches were added by Justin Perkins (The Replacements, Screeching Weasel, Tommy Stinson) at Mystery Room Mastering in Milwaukee, WI.
The video was filmed and edited by Cheap Dates drummer M Tivis Clark
Vinyl bundle pre-orders will begin on Friday, December 4th via WarHen Records — just in time for Bandcamp Friday!
“Manic” will be available on all major streaming outlets via CMD SHFT.
