PREMIERE: Pete Mancini’s “Quit Playing Games With My Heart”

There’s something about Pete Mancini’s high and lonesome songwriting that really gets me. Pete was game to cover anything I wanted for the Adobe & Teardrops 10th Anniversary fundraiser for Jewish-led immigrant rights group Never Again Action. So, what would be more natural than a silly song about broken hearts — certainly a change from Pete’s *chef’s kiss*-worthy political Americana. (PS — by total coincidence, Pete just released the first single from his new album Killing the Old Ways!)

Anyway, here is Pete’s strangely beautiful rendition of the classic ’90s ballad and cornerstone of millennial culture, “Quit Playing Games With My Heart.”

We’re releasing a new video for every $100 we raise for Never Again Action! Next up is a brand new song by Kasey Anderson! Donate here!
