Caitlin Quisenberry hits the open road on “Wild West With You.” Originally from Colorado, Quisenberry’s set down roots in Music City after traveling the world in pursuit of music. Her latest song, “Wild West You,” celebrates diving into the unknown with lush ’90s country production and a tight, contemporary groove. Above it is Quisenberry’s rich, made-for-country-radio voice.
“I’m a free-spirited dreamer,” exclaims Caitlin. “I long for an open road full of adventure. This song is about living in the moment with the one you love. I believe the ultimate romance is when you feel your home is wherever that person is. The Wild West was a time and place of the true desperados, our countries outlaws, who risked their lives to seek a better life. My inspiration for writing this song stemmed from the excitement and danger of taking risks, having a life full of adventure, and leaving the past behind for something better.”
That risk-taking is paying off. Caitlin was named “Nashville’s Newest Darling” by Hype Magazine and has received placements in American Songwriter, Country Note, Westword, and ThinkTankNashville. No stranger to the stage, Caitlin first started singing at age three. When she was 14, she recorded with multi-GRAMMY-winning producer Robert Cutarella and the following year found herself on American Idol, where she earned a Golden Ticket and was pushed through to Hollywood. While in college, Caitlin took her talents to the next level, studying in Switzerland with renowned opera singer Karine Mkrtchyan. One of her latest singles, “Take Only What You Need”, is approaching 1 million streams.
